TEdi Privacy Policy

Effective 25 October 2026

TEdi is a web-based document editor available at tedi.web.id. This policy explains what data is processed when you use TEdi.

Documents and local storage

By default, TEdi documents and settings are stored locally in your browser's storage on your device. Document content is not sent to the TEdi server unless you knowingly use an online feature such as Google Drive, collaboration, translation, or loading third-party services.

PDFs opened in the viewer are processed on your device. If you opt in to PDF recovery, TEdi stores the last PDF, current page, annotations, form entries, and image signature in this device's browser storage for up to seven days. Recovery is limited to PDFs of 50 MB or less and can be turned off and deleted from the PDF viewer.

PDF viewing, editing, compression, merging, and image conversion do not upload file contents to the TEdi server. Choosing Save to Google Drive sends the result directly from your device to Google Drive.

TEdi may send anonymous PDF usage categories, such as the tool used, result, rounded file size, and page count. The server stores daily totals for up to 90 days, without file names, PDF contents, document text, account identity, or IP address in these totals.

Google Drive access

If you choose to sign in with Google, TEdi requests the drive.file scope. This scope only lets TEdi create new files and open or update files you choose or use through TEdi. TEdi does not request general access to all the contents of your Google Drive.

Third-party services

Some features may load Google Identity Services, Google Picker, Google Fonts, or open Google Translate. Use of these services is subject to each provider's privacy policy. TEdi only enables them when your action or choice requires it.

Technical logs

The web server may record standard technical information such as IP address, request time, URL, and browser type for security, troubleshooting, and service maintenance. Logs are not used to build advertising profiles.

Control and deletion

You can delete local documents by deleting them in TEdi or clearing site data in your browser. You can revoke TEdi's permission from your Google Account security page. Files already saved in Google Drive can be managed and deleted directly in Google Drive.

Security and policy changes

We apply domain-based OAuth and API restrictions and use HTTPS. No system is completely risk-free. This policy may be updated when features or service obligations change; the latest effective date will be shown on this page.
